U16 National Indoor Team Takes 3rd Place Pool K at NITs; +4 Goal Differential

Lasting Legacy girls took to the pitch at the Spooky Nook March 1-3.  Day one statistics reveal two highly competitive matches: Offensive Corners 10, Defensive Corners 11; 15 Shots on Goal, 10 GK Saves.

However, Lasting Legacy found themselves in last place in Pool K posting a -4 goal differential after the first day of matches.  The last two days of competition were a totally different story. 

Match 3, Lasting Legacy dominated the pitch against Metro winning the match 2-1 and posting 6 offensive corners, 4 defensive corners; 9 shots on goal, 1 GK save. 

Match 4, Lasting Legacy really got their mojo working! The girls again dominated the pitch winning their second match of the tournament against Majestyx 6-2.  The girls posted 8 offensive corners and 4 defensive corners; 12 shots on goal, 4 GK saves.

Last day of competition, Lasting Legacy had a 7am match against the 3rd place team Rampage.  At the conclusion of the first half, Lasting Legacy was down 2-nil.  The next 20 minutes of play was all Lasting Legacy.  The match ended with Lasting Legacy’s 3rd win 4-2 posting 4 offensive corners, 3 defensive corners (none the second half); 12 shots on goal (10 the second half); 2 GK saves.
