Fall Program

Lasting Legacy Fall Program

Our Fall Program has two distinct components – Breezy Park and Academy Sessions.

Breezy Park Sessions

Our Fall Program, which runs from Sept to mid-Nov, is designed for new and experienced U10, U12, U14, U16, and U19 players who want to learn the technical skills used by international players. Using progressive and dynamic training methods, our elite coaching staff focuses on the individual player by understanding that each player moves along her own field hockey learning curve.

The Sunday night schedule is conducive for school players who desire additional practice time to work on their game. Players learn proper ball placement in all aspects of the game – passing and receiving, shot selection, eliminations, 3D skills, and aerials. Players also learn leading and tackling techniques. The goalkeeper training program emphasize efficiency of movement, angles and relative positioning, delay tactics, basic and advance tackling techniques, and the strategies behind defending strokes and 1v1s.

Select U14/U16 & U19 players who demonstrate the competitive skills and commitment have the opportunity to participate in the United States Field Hockey National Hockey Festival which takes place annually over Thanksgiving break.

Academy Sessions

Our Cold Spring Harbor Fall Program is designed for less experienced players in grades 3 through 6. Players learn how to play field hockey in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment.

Sunday morning clinics are progressively designed to build the technical skills of each player. Players will learn passing and receiving, dribbling techniques, goal scoring, and tackling. Players interested in goalkeeping will be provided goalkeeping equipment during each clinic. Sticks are also available for field players.
