Emily Berlinghof HS All-American

January, 2019

Emily Berlinghof, Lasting Legacy midfielder on the Storm National Team, was awarded the distinction of being named to the High School All-American Team.  High School All-American selection committee unanimously selected Emily to the High School All-American 3rd Team making Emily one of the top 36 players in the nation.  Emily is heading to Harvard University to study and play field hockey in the fall.

Emily has a long history of accolades since starting field hockey with Lasting Legacy in the 6th grade.  In 2018, Emily was the only Long Island player to make the U17 USA Field Hockey National Team.  In 2018 & 2017, she was selected to Junior National Camp; 2017 Selected to USAFH Futures STX Tournament again as one of the top 36 national players; 2018, 2017, 2016 All-State selection; 3-time AAU Junior Olympic selection 2017, 2016, 2015.

Emily was also named captain of the Lasting Legacy National Team 2015-2018 leading the team in elite national and regional tournaments – National Club Championships (2015-2017), Regional Club Championships (2015-2018), National Hockey Festival (2014-2017), National Indoor Tournament (2015-2018), Junior Premier Outdoor League (2016-2017).

Emily will continue playing for the red, white, and blue Lasting Legacy this spring before taking the pitch with the Crimson in 2019 and beyond!!
