LL Storm do it the hard way and qualify for the U16 Nationals

If there is one thing that all Storm parents can agree upon it’s that if there is an easy way and a hard way to get the job done, Storm will choose the latter route each time.  Last weekend was no exception with a setback on Saturday leading to a fraught and very looong Sunday.  The team though were unfazed by parental concerns and produced a stunning set of performances in the knock out rounds that saw them meet Saturday’s nemesis Maine Majestix in the semi final for a place at Spooky Nook.

In one of the teams best ever performances, and led by master tactician “deep thought” John Delisso, the Storm deservedly edged a tight game 1:0 which included a goal of the season contender from Jackie.  The final was a bridge too far for an exhausted squad but by then the job was done and we can look forward to a summer bash in tropical PA.
