Freshman Lily Fox Named to All-SUNYAC All-Conference Team

Freshman forward Lily Fox (Northport) was named to the All-SUNYAC All Conference Team.

Fox played in 20 games, 19 as a starter, and finished with seven goals and one assist for 15 points. She tallied the game-winning overtime goal in a regular-season win at New Paltz and scored twice in Cortland’s season-opening victory over Maine Farmington.

Cortland finished the season 16-4 and advanced to the SUNYAC tournament championship game for the fourth time in the last five years. The Red Dragons were second in the league during the regular season and won a semifinal game before losing 4-3 in double overtime at top-seeded Geneseo.
